Workout Tip: Warming Up Cold Barbells

Many people with a home gym have them in their garage or in their basements. Garages and basements tend not to be quite as well insulated as the rest of the home. The result of this? Metal dumbbells and barbells that are really cold, which can make your muscles cramp when you are trying to use them. Solution? Here you go courtesy of Straight To The Bar (couldn’t find the actual article here) and brought to my attention by RunToWin (the answer)

It’s a great tip! Thanks for the heads up on the old link; Scott used to house his Straight to the Bar website on his personal domain, but it looks like at some point in the last 3 years he stopped redirecting from that domain to the new one he had gotten for it a couple years back. I found the original article where I’d offered Scott the warm towel trick and updated the link on my site.

Cool Blaine! Fun website you have, I enjoy it. And thanks for all the help you give over at Yaro’s, it’s appreciated I’m sure, by everyone.
