How To Get Back Into Shape After A LayOff

Hello!
Ive been to your site quite often in the past..the only fitness site that I enjoy actually.
I need your help (advice) I have written before where I lost a lot of weight and workout out 6 days a week. I didn’t need to lose anymore but I was trying to tone up with all the exercise equipment at home I was using every bit of it!
I had written you about when to take a break from workouts–so I took your advice, which I didn’t take a full 2 weeks off (felt guilty cause I enjoyed it to much also) but I did take a few more days off then I decided to take 1 week off then get back strong at it…well the problem is..I havent!! Since taking that break–Ive slacked and I cant seem to get back..oh I do about 2 to 3 days still but not INTO it like before and I want to be..so please your advice would be appriciated. Also, the allowing myself some what cha call not healthy food once a week has lead into once a day! Im not gaining(well maybe 5 pds but not losing either! I want to get back to making myself totally healthy like before along with the dedicated workouts because I felt so in control of myself, control of my body and felt great!
Im sure a lot of folks fall into this situation after losing a lot of weight and I hope you can suggest us on how to stay on track.. It seems like its all or nothing for me.
Enjoy your site..keep up the great work!
Sincerely,
Kimmie

Everyone is differant, like you said, for you it seems to be all or nothing. If that is the case and you really want to “get back into it” then you already know the answer. You need to make the decision to get back into it in an all or nothing style becauase thats what works for you.

There is no magic self dicapline wand I can wave for you. Sometimes you just need to kick yourself in the butt and get back to doing what you need to do…..no matter what.
