About Reaching Your Goals
Have you ever wondered when you will finally get what you want? Most of us have hopes, dreams and goals. Those of you that really know what you want have probably committed your goals to paper since that is the first concrete step in stating what you want to achieve to your subconscious.
Let me tell you about my cat. My cat hates the wind, but loves the sun. If the sun is streaming through the window my cat will meow and stand on my foot until she gets some play time outside. She looks at the pigeons and chickadees and goes into her killer tiger in the wild persona. She’s all meow and no claw but that’s another story.
Sometimes I stand on the back porch and I hear her little paws playing the bongos on the door. She wants to come outside. I usually let her have what she wants. Today it is super windy despite the beautiful sunshine. I don’t let her out because I know she will pin her ears back and meow to get back inside.
The point is that sometimes you want something but the time isn’t right. That doesn’t mean you stop asking or trying to get what you want though. Because tomorrow, you just may get outside.
