Do Fat Burners Work?

Hey Ray!

I just wanted to say thanks a bunch for the “From Fat To Fit” tips you’ve been sending. They’ve really helped. I’ve been trying on and off for a couple of years to get toned, but it’s been a struggle. I’ve been trying the cardio intervals, and it really makes a difference. I’m going to start keeping track of the weight too. Even though I’m aiming for tone and fat loss, I think increased strength would be a great bonus since I’m suffering from the “little woman” syndrome (only 5’0″ tall). Also I’ve been taking “xxxxshred” fat burners from “xxxxxxx”, and I was just wandering what you thought about it.

Answer: I used to really like the “fat burners”, but that was in my younger days. Now, I think they tend to make themselves a crutch. Almost like you feel you have more room for error or that any results you have are due to thier “magical effect”. In truth, I find that most of them just plain do nothing. When they actually do something it is either very little or TOO MUCH. In the too much case, you get ants in your pants and can get cranky as your nervous system gets overloaded.

An overloaded nervous system is just plain bad no matter how you look at it. I hope that helps april.
